Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (FOUNDATION LEVEL 3) programme is a bridging qualification for international students who want to come to the UK, Australia, Canada or the US to study at University. The students will quite often find that their high school leaving certificate gained in their home country does not meet University entry requirements. These students not only need to improve their English but also need to complete further study related to their chosen area before being able to apply and be accepted onto undergraduate degrees at a UK University.

  

The London College of United Knowledge foundation programme prepares students who have completed their high school studies to apply for undergraduate degree courses at Universities in the UK, Australia, Canada and US by bringing their level of English up to the standard required for university study and by allowing them to meet the university’s academic entry requirements.

 

Students study six core modules (includes 3 modules focused on English Language) and two elective modules based on the major enrolled in.

 

The IFY core modules are:

Developing English Language Skills
Advanced English Language Skills
English for Academic Purposes
Study and Communication Skills
Culture Studies
Foundation Mathematics

 

Then the students choose 2 elective modules in Computing
